Join us for Christmas Tree & Menorah Lighting and Bonfire on Dec. 12th
November 16, 2015
The Bolton Town Common Committee has just completed the full clean up and remediation of the former brownfield, making it now safe for people to visit the Common for the first time. To celebrate the Committee, along with the Bolton Conservation Trust, invites Bolton residents to usher in the holiday season with a Christmas Tree & Menorah Lighting on Saturday, December 12th from 6-7pm.
The celebration comes as we cross the $875,000 mark for funds raised for the Common. At the same time, more than 100 hours of volunteer time per week has been dedicated during these autumn months as the we work to get the future Common "clean and green."
There will be a show of lights, a huge bonfire, live music, group caroling and cookie & cocoa for all. Santa has been invited to attend and he is trying to fit it in to schedule -- so our fingers are crossed that he arrives! Admission is free. Limited parking is available on the Common for Trust members (parking pass must be requested in advance at firstname.lastname@example.org; Trust memberships is open to all at BoltonConservationTrust.org). Offsite parking is available at Trinity Church on Wattaquadock Hill Road. Carpooling is encouraged. We hope to see you there!
